This 50-minute performance concert by the vocal duo, Sirens’ Song, will celebrate with soothing and reflective music of the season, including familiar carols and lesser known songs and duets. Soprano Angelynne Hinson and mezzo-soprano Melinda McMahon are regionally acclaimed for their duo, Sirens’ Song. Touring Artists for the New Hampshire Council on the Arts, they are known for their unique blend and varied programming.
Their debut performance led the Portland Press Herald to write that Sirens’ Song is “an impeccably matched duo with a brilliant, highly textured soprano and an equally warm and luminous mezzo-soprano…ingeniously chosen repertoire.” Their debut CD, Mélange, has been lauded by the Portsmouth Herald as “classic and beautiful...the voices and delivery are equally splendid.
